Make Space Studios is a community of established as well as up and coming artists, artisans and creative businesses. There are painters, ceramicists, graphic designers, fashion designers, photographers, an arts management company, sculptors, illustrators, interior architects, print makers, animators and more.

The art studios are multi-disciplinary with fine, applied and temporal arts and design all represented. Make Space Studios managing director Rebecca Geary says: “The goal of Make Space Studios is to develop an environment where all creativity is embraced. Everyone has the option to learn from the skills and ideas of their fellow artists/creators as they work and further explore their own fields of expertise within a supportive and diverse community.”

'Make Space' is in central London with over 70 studios in a range of sizes. All studios have natural light, power and are fully self contained. Some of the studios have water and others have 10ft ceilings. The sizes range from 520ft sq down to 45ft sq. There is a large common room, two kitchens, and the additional benefit of an on site public gallery called The Simulator Gallery (which is available to hire both for Make Space artists and off site artists).

Make Space Studios is in an excellent location for public transport, has 24 hour access and nurtures a collaborative, friendly atmosphere of thriving artists. We also hold two Open Studios per year to enable artists to show their work and raise their profiles. The Make Space website gives further opportunity to our artists to show their work, add links to their own websites and promote any up and coming shows.
